Employees at Mahottari Ayurveda Office accuse Chief of misappropriation

MAHOTTARI, Jan 22: Employees under District Ayurveda Office, Mahottari have resorted to a protest against the office Chief, Subodh Mishra.

MAHOTTARI, Jan 22: Employees under District Ayurveda Office, Mahottari have resorted to a protest against the office Chief, Subodh Mishra. 



They have accused Mishra of misusing the money allocated to mark the National Yoga Day on January 14. 



Office-bearers of Nepal Ayurveda Health Workers Society, Mahottari District Chapter has also accused Mishra of organizing annual programs unilaterally.



Chairman of Ayurveda Health Workers Society, Mahottari District Chapter, Ram Ekal Madal told Republica Online that they have submitted a memorandum with a six-point demands to Department of Ayurveda through the District Administration Office, Mahottari.



However, Mishra has refuted the allegations against him.



“National Yoga Day was not marked in the district due to a technical reason, it will be marked within a few days,” he said.
