Dahal-Nepal faction of NCP calls SC and CWC meetings

KATHMANDU, Mar 1: The Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to hold a Standing Committee (SC) and Central Working Committee (CWC) meetings.


The party secretariat meeting held in Singha Durbar decided to hold its Standing Committee (SC) and Central Working Committee (CWC) meetings to discuss the recent political development in the country.

According to Bishnu Rijaj, the central committee member of Dahal-Nepal faction of NCP,  the CWC meeting has been scheduled for March 2, 1 PM.


The Supreme Court (SC) on February 23 had decided to reinstate the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR) and ordered the government to summon a House session within 13 days.


Meanwhile, the government has decided to recommend the President Bidya Devi Bhandari to call the House session on March 7.
