KATHMANDU, August 9: An 80-year-old Seti Gajurel, a resident of Tarakeswar Municipality-3 in Kathmandu, has publicized a 30-feet long banner with a painting of Lord Gautam Buddha from the top of the Dharahara tower. The painting was made in collaboration by famous Nepali artists.
“If Dharahara can rise after falling, we can also rise again and help others to rise as well,” said singer Dhiraj Rai on the occasion. He also expressed happiness to become part of the program.

Similarly, poet Biren Malakar read a ghazal in the event. He hoped that everyone would know about the program organized by the supporters of ‘Buddha was born in Nepal’ and the Dharahara Reconstruction Campaign.
Deepak Chandra of Nepal Book of Record said that it was an exemplary event and that a certificate would be issued soon. He also said that the event was noticed by the World Record Foundation and wished them goodluck.
The program from the top of the Dharahara tower was broadcast live by Dhruv Prasad Gajurel, a supporter of the Dharahara Reconstruction Campaign.
Prior to the event, Gajurel had conducted a live session from the 22nd floor of the Dharahara tower and announced plans to build the world's largest book collection and museum in Nepal.
