Dr Bhattarai’s book on Nepal’s foreign relations launched

The book was jointly unveiled by former Chief Justice Kalyan Shrestha, Dr Mohan Prasad Lohani, Dr Kusum Shakya, journalist Kanak Mani Dixit, and the author himself.

KATHMANDU, March 9: Diplomatic expert Dr Madan Kumar Bhattarai’s book Nepal’s Foreign Relations: Transition and Prof Narendra Mani Dixit was officially launched on Saturday at Nepal Pragya Pratisthan on March 8 (Saturday).


The book was jointly unveiled by former Chief Justice Kalyan Shrestha, Dr Mohan Prasad Lohani, Dr Kusum Shakya, journalist Kanak Mani Dixit, and the author himself.

During the book launch, Shrestha remarked that the book serves as a diplomatic history of the contemporary world and praised Bhattarai’s in-depth research on Nepal’s first Foreign Secretary, Ambassador, and Professor Narendra Mani Dixit. He suggested translating the book into English for wider readership, including in India. Likewise, Dr Lohani, Dixit, and Dr Shakya also shared their insights on the book.
