Our correspondent Tek Narayan Bhattarai held a telephone conversation with local Krishna Bahadur Shahi.
"The plane crash-landed at around 1 pm today. A team of four police personnel led by ASI arrived at the incident site. They were too tired to help. However, no rescue helicopters have arrived yet. We locals are trying our best to help the injured passengers. One pilot had already died when we arrived here at the incident site while the other pilot breathed his last while we were undergoing primary treatment. He might have been saved if the rescue operation was carried on time. Passenger Laxman Khadka is severely injured. He has been carried to a nearby health post for further treatment. The front part of the aircraft has been completely destroyed as it crash-landed. However, the aircraft didn't catch fire. The aircraft's wings have been also destroyed completely. Passengers remained safe as the mid and rear parts of the aircraft were not damaged."
