KATHMANDU, Jan: The newly elected Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress (NC), is set to formally declare the party's candidate for future Prime Minister to the Party President Gagan Thapa.
The party has for that reason called its CWC meeting at the party office in Sanepa for Friday.

The announcement will come as one of the major agenda of the January 11-14 Special General Convention which dissolved the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led committee and elected a new leadership team.
This marks the first time the committee will convene in the party office at Sanepa, after internal disputes had previously forced meetings to be held elsewhere.
NC Spokesperson Devaraj Chalise confirmed the session is scheduled for 1 PM, and after the declaration, Thapa plans to visit his electoral constituency in Sarlahi–4.
