Authorities said that at least one of the deportees had entered the US on a student visa but was later deported for overstaying, while the rest had reached the US through illegal routes.
Authorities found that some of those deported had paid up to Rs 15 million to traffickers to enter the US unlawfully.
Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau officials have questioned the deportees and handed them over to their families. They have also urged the returnees to file complaints if they were sent abroad through illegal means.
