One killed in Lalitpur motorcycle accident, driver arrested

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: A motorcycle accident in Damaitar, Godavari Municipality-1, Lalitpur, left one person dead on Tuesday.

The accident occurred when a motorcycle (Bagmati Province 02–022 Pa 0234) went out of control. The pillion rider, identified as 38-year-old Deepak Bista of Godavari Municipality-2, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital, police confirmed.

The motorcycle driver has been taken into custody for further investigation.
