TANAHUN, JAn 25: A 13-year-old girl died and another person was injured in a jeep accident in Maghde Rural Municipality–4, Koldanda, Tanahun.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shravan Kumar BK of the District Police Office, the jeep (registration number Ga 3 Cha 5838), which was heading from Koldanda toward Tharpu along the Koldanda–Tharpu internal road section, plunged around 20 meters off the road this morning.
Six, including driver, injured in jeep accident in Baitadi
The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Koiska Gharti of Maghde–4, Koldanda. She was critically injured in the accident and was pronounced dead by doctors at Province Hospital, Damauli, at 8:40 am.
Another local resident, 15-year-old Dipsan Gharti, was injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment.
Police have taken the driver, 30-year-old Basanta Gharti, into custody for further investigation.
