SYANGJA, Feb 26: A jeep accident in Syangja has claimed the life of the driver while the co-driver has sustained injuries.
Mitra Lal Aryal, 26, a resident of Rambha Rural Municipality-3, Palpa, died in the accident that occurred along the Siddhartha Highway in Kharipani, Galyang Municipality-11, said Hari Prasad Poudel, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Syangja.

According to him, the driver, who was injured in the accident, died during treatment at Galyang Nagar Hospital last night.
The van, which was heading towards Pokhara from Butwal, veered off the road and fell 100 meters down the road. There were four people in the van including the driver and the co-driver.
The co-driver, Radheshyam Basyal, 23, a resident of Rambha Rural Municipality-3, Palpa, is undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College in Tansen, Palpa, according to the police.
Information Officer Poudel said that the police are conducting further investigation into the accident.
