The Nepali migrants participating in the protest rally vented their ire over India, saying that the inhuman blockade has completely ruined the Nepal's economy and resulted in the shortage of essential drugs. Irate protestors also shouted slogans against Modi government for blatantly violating the transit right inherent with a landlocked country like Nepal.
The protestors also called on the international community (the United Nations, European Union, and the United States of America) to mount pressure on India to immediately lift the blockade as it has committed a serious crime against humanity by obstructing goods including medicines, fuel and other essential materials.
Even thoughthe representatives of the protest organizers reached Indian Embassy in Oslo to hand over memorandum following the demonstration, it did not receive it.
