Abductors demand Rs. 1m as ransom

GAUSHALA, April 24: Kidnappers have demanded one million rupees as ransom for the release of Bhola Yadav, kidnapped from Sonama VDC in Mahottari district on Sunday night.



An unknown group kidnapped Bhola Yadav, 35, of Sonama-7 from Sonama-9 at 11:00 pm on Sunday while Yadav was on the way to home.[break]



The kidnappers have on Tuesday demanded one million rupees as ransom for his release, said relative Bijay Yadav.



According to Bijay, kidnappers have made a phone call from unknown number and asked them to manage one million rupees at the earliest.



Family members and relatives have started search operation after the demand of ransom.



The family members of Bhola informed the district–based media persons about the kidnapping only today.



The District Police Office has said that police personnel have been assigned from Sunday night to carry out search for Bhola.
