SIRAHA, June 1: Abductors have demanded 2 million rupees ransom for Shrwan Bhandari from his mother. Bhandari of Sukhipur VDC-6 in Siraha district was kidnapped on May 25.

But, the boy has not been released so far after the parents' failure to provide the ransom money to the abductors.

Police said that the abductors phoned Arhuliya Bhandari, the boy's mother, on May 26 by seeking the amount to get her son back or face a grave consequence in case the amount was not paid. Arhuliya, however, said that she has not capacity to manage such a huge amount.

Likewise, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhav Budhathoki has said that investigations into the case were going on. "The progress in the case is zero so far," he said. RSS
