SURKHET, May 14: It has become very much unlikely for Karnali Province to successfully implement the budget for the current fiscal year 2017/18. The provincial government has yet to form divisions for the implementation of the budget with the FY about to end. The budget, which was approved by the federal parliament on April 28, was released to the provincial government on May 6.

POKHARA, May 11: All commercial flights in the Pokhara-Jomsom sector scheduled for Saturday morning have been canceled in light of the Muktinath visit of India Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Issuing a notice to airmen (NOTAM), Jomsom airport has informed all airlines companies not to schedule their flights on Saturday morning for Jomsom airport. According to Bhanubhakta Koirala, chief of Jomsom airport, the NOTAM has been issued for 6:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday.
