The evening schedule remains unchanged. This timing adjustment applies to all departments, wards, secretariats and project offices of the metropolitan city.
In order to encourage the employees to work overtime, 'Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality Employee Service Facility Standard 2080' has been approved by the city executive body and published in the local gazette.
This arrangement will make it easier for employees working in government and private sector offices from 10AM to receive services from the KMC beforehand. Spokesperson Manandhar emphasized that this change aims to streamline service delivery from the metropolis and its affiliated offices, benefiting citizens before they commence their workday.
