KATHMANDU, May 30: Forest and environment sector has received budget allocation of Rs 16.58 billion for the upcoming fiscal year 2018/19. Compared to the current fiscal year, the budget for the sector has been reduced by Rs 5.56 billion.

The budget is not in line with the spirit of federalism. It is not up to my expectation as the first budget of the federal government; it's rather similar to previous budgets.
