SURKHET, Feb 7: Tunnel construction at Bheri-Babai Multipurpose Project, a national pride project, has come to the final phase. On Tuesday, the length of completed tunnel was 11,100 meters, out of the total 12,000 meters.
SURKHET, Jan 24: The Karnali province has started the construction of two fully equipped police posts in two border points with China. The police posts will be set up in Hilsa of Humla and Dhomorilla of Dolpa within a year, according to the provincial minister for internal affairs and law, Naresh Bhandari.

SURKHET, Nov 20: A woman from Kalikot district has given birth to a set of conjoined twins at the Provincial Hospital in Surkhet on Sunday. The twins were born to Lalita Budha of Raskot Municipality-5. They were delivered through a Caesarean section.
