KATHMANDU, May 13: The online payment portal eSewa has extended its service to pay drinking water bill in Surkhet via the e-wallet.
The drinking water corporation office in Surkhet valley, which has 16,000 users, has taken this move in an attempt to digitalize the organization's operations. From now onwards, denizens of Birendranagar Municipality will not have to visit the office of the drinking water corporation and stand in queues for hours to pay their dues, according to a report published by the corporation.
Lately, the corporation has been collaborating with eSewa to receive drinking water dues.
