KATHMANDU, May 6: Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nepal have reached 99 as 17 more patients have been diagnosed with this deadly disease on Wednesday.
During a regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health and Population, the spokesperson Dr Bikash Devkota, informed that the swab samples of all the patients from Parsa district tested positive for this disease at Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory. The infected patients are of two-month to 66-year of age, Dr Devkota added. Of them 7 are females and other 10 are males.

Of the 99 total infected, 22 have recovered while no death has been reported yet.
