Wife killed in Dakshinkali, husband arrested from Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: On October 5, Dolma Sherpa, a 45-year-old woman from Dupcheshwar Rural Municipality-7, Nuwakot, temporarily residing at Dakshinkali Municipality-6 was found dead in her room in Dakshinkali, Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: On October 5, Dolma Sherpa, a 45-year-old woman from Dupcheshwar Rural Municipality-7, Nuwakot, temporarily residing at Dakshinkali Municipality-6 was found dead in her room in Dakshinkali, Kathmandu.


Following an investigation, police have arrested Jit Bahadur, the husband of the victim, from Chaling, Bhaktapur, on murder charges. The police have alleged that he beat Dolma to death.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Division Office, Jit Bahadur had been hiding in various locations in the valley since the incident and was last seen in Chaling.


Police confirmed that they arrested Jit Bahadur, 60, in Chaling and have sent him to the Kirtipur Police Circle for further investigation and legal action.
