ILAM, Feb 7: The Suryodaya Municipality has made public its budget for the fiscal year 2017-18 (2074-75 BS).
Municipality's Executive Officer, Rajendra Bhattarai, announced the budget of Rs 163.7 million along with policy and program at a function which took place on Monday.
The municipal office has allocated Rs 70 million for town's population and social development program, Rs 50 million for socio-economic and physical infrastructure development and Rs 11.6 million as supplementary fund.
Similarly, Rs 8.3 million has been allocated for organizational and administrative works, Rs 4.5 million for agriculture, forest and environmental program, Rs 4.3 million for water resources and land and Rs 2.5 million for partnership ventures.
Executive Chief Bhattarai added that preparations for master plan were underway by identifying the program that can be linked with human prosperity.RSS
