KATHMANDU, July 21: Various student organizations jointly held a demonstration against Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari on Thursday at Maitighar, Kathmandu.
The student organizations such as Nepal Student Union and All Nepal National Independent Students' Union (Revolutionary) organized the protest. During the protest, the protestors showcased various cartoons against Governor Adhikari demanding his resignation.

They displayed cartoons accusing Governor Adhikari of belonging to a political party. However, the governor as well as CPN-UML has claimed that the person affiliated with the party's department is not NRB Governor Adhikari.
