Cooperative fraud case: Ex vice-president’s son Dipesh made defendant

Pun has been made a defendant in the case filed by the Kaski District Government Attorney's Office (DGAO) at the Kaski District Court on Sunday based on the police report.

KATHMANDU, Dec 22: Dipesh Pun, the leader of Akhil Krantikari close to CPN (Maoist Centre), has been made a defendant in the case related to cooperative fraud.


Pun has been made a defendant in the case filed by the Kaski District Government Attorney's Office (DGAO) at the Kaski District Court on Sunday based on the police report.

Shanti Devi Sharma, Assistant District Attorney, said that a case has been filed against Pun as a fugitive defendant. Additionally, a case will be filed against Pun under organized crime.


Pun is the son of former Vice-President of Nepal Nanda Bahadur Pun. He has also previously been arrested and released in connection with a gold smuggling case.
