KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has returned home today after attending the High-Level Regional Consultation on Financing for Development in Asia and the Pacific, held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The conference focused on key topics such as sustainable development goals, resource management, capital mobilization, public debt, climate finance funds, and fiscal gaps.

Nepal chaired the consultation meeting organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
Suggestions from the consultation will contribute to a document to be presented at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, scheduled to take place in Spain in 2025.
