JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 17: A truck has killed a pedestrian in Janakpur.
The sand-loaded truck struck 60-year-old Satya Narayan Sah of Hari Gorigamma, Mahottari Rural Municipality-6, on the Janakpur-Kurtha road in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-7 on Friday morning.

The truck with registration number Na 6 Kha 4537 struck pedestrian Sah as he was crossing the road, killing him on the spot, the District Traffic Office, Dhanusha, said.
Police arrested the truck driver, 41-year-old Shiva Kumar Damai of Mithila Municipality-11, Lalgadh, Dhanusha, and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
