“Nepal has only one series left in the ongoing cycle of the World Cup League-2, where we will face Oman and Canada. Considering the recent performance of these two teams, they are not very strong. The Nepali team is confident after winning the ACC Premier Cup. Nepal can take advantage of that,” former national cricket team member Deependra Chaudhary said.
Currently, Nepal is in 7th place in the World Cup League-2 table. Nepal has played 32 matches, losing 19 and winning 11. They shared points in two games.
To make it to the top six and retain their one-day status, Nepal now needs to win at least three matches.
Nepal is scheduled to play the final round of League-2 in October.
