GANDAKI, Oct 20: Former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane is being produced before the Kaski District Court today. He is in police custody for investigation on charges of misappropriation of financial co-operative funds.
Lamichhane, who is Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, was arrested in Kathmandu on Friday on charge of embezzling the funds from the Suryadarshan Savings and Credit Cooperatives Limited. He was brought to Pokhara the same night.

Lamichhane remains in custody at District Police Office Kaski. Office Spokesperson Basanta Kumar Sharma said that Lamichhane will be presented before court later today.
