The electricity generated by the project is connected to the national grid through the NEA's 220/132/33 kV substation at Thambucht in Amachodingmo Rural Municipality, Rasuwa.

This addition to the national grid is expected to aid the NEA in meeting Kathmandu Valley's electricity demand. However, technicians have indicated that production during winter will drop to 37 MW, significantly below the project’s full capacity.
