KATHMANDU, March 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has paid a tribute to late Tourism Minister Adhikari by hailing him as an exemplary leader he ever found in the political course of his life.
Speaking at a condolence assembly organized to commemorate Adhikari duo late Rabindra and Bharat Mohan at Bhrikuti Mandap on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli said, “Late Tourism Minister Adhikari was an exemplary leader and his achievements made over the last one year as tourism minister could be a source of lessons to many.”
Rabindra Adhikari to be remembered
“Adhikari has left behind an inspiring trail of achievement in his political career from the early student to the party politics,” Oli said.
He further said that the growing criticisms against the government from all quarters mean that the government is inching toward its goal. “It is nothing more than envy oozed out by those who do not want to see the achievement of the current government,” said Oli.
Seven people including Adhikari had died in a helicopter crash near Pathibhara in Taplejung on February 27 while Bharat Mohan Adhikari, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, passed away at the age of 82 due to respiratory complications on March 2.
