SIRAHA March 29: The two local representatives who were arrested for their involvement in bulldozing a house of a Dalit man to hold a Mahayagya in the Rural Municipality-5 have been released on bail.
Aurahi Rural Municipality Chair Shivaji Yadav and former ward chair Dilip Kumar Yadav were released on Friday.

District Court Judge Bidur Kafle issued an order to release them on a bail of Rs 100,000 each. A hearing was held on Friday after a case was registered against them for crimes related to caste-based discrimination and untouchability.
The house of Deepak Malik was demolished on February 22 reportedly to hold a Mahayagya.
Shivaji Yadav of Janata Samajbadi Party, was the chair of the Mahayagya organizing committee while Dilip Kumar Yadav was the committee secretary. They were arrested on March 21.
Meanwhile, Bajrangi Baba, the main priest of the Mahayagya, who ordered the use of a dozer to demolish the house of Deepak, is absconding.
