Nepal’s peace process exemplary: Democratic Leader Syuu Ki

KATHMANDU, July 8: Myanmar’s democratic leader and Minister for Foreign Affairs Aung San Syuu-Ki heaped praise to Nepal’s peace process to be exemplary in the world.

KATHMANDU, July 8: Myanmar’s democratic leader and Minister for Foreign Affairs Aung San Syuu-Ki heaped praise to Nepal’s peace process to be exemplary in the world. The 72-year-old expressed her thoughts to Nepal’s former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and former minister Eknath Dhakal in a meeting held at Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.



The First and incumbent State Counselor and leader of the Burmese National League for Democracy also added that countries need state man than politicians to grow and signified the importance of international reconciliation for Myanmar’s peace process.



The former PM and CPN-UML leader Nepal and former minister and chairperson of Nepal Pariwar Dal Dhakal also insisted on importance of communication, friendship and settlement for Nepal’s successful peace attainment and wished Myanmar for same. During the meeting leader Nepal invited leader Syuu-Ki to visit Nepal in appropriate time.

Leaders Nepal and Dhakal are in Myanmar to participate in International Association of Parliamentarian for Peace program.




The meeting was arranged by Nepal’s Ambassador for Myanmar Bhim Udaas. In a program held at the Embassy of Nepal, Nepali residing in Myanmar requested the Nepali leaders to recognize them as Non-Residence Nepali (NRNs) and allow Nepali government to provide accreditation to the syllables learned by Nepali population in Myanmar academics.
