Province 3: Perks of CM proposed

KATHMANDU, April 8: Chief Minister of Province 3 will be receiving sixty-one thousands as his monthly salary. In total along with communication services his total salary will be seventy-five thousands.


Provincial government has submitted the bill regarding salary information of Chief Minister, Ministers and Parliamentarians. The bill has been enlisted in the agenda for the discussion during the meeting of the assembly on Monday which is believed to be endorsed by the assembly on the same day itself.


As per the bill proposed, the salary for Chief Minister is sixty thousands and nine hundred seventy rupees while he will be receiving five thousands for communication services and ten thousands for miscellaneous.

Chief Minister will also be provided with a residence. As proposed in the bill, one more vehicle could be provided for the security.


Ministers, State Minister and Assistant Minister will be receiving fifty-two thousands, forty-nine thousands and forty-seven thousands respectively as monthly salary. Ministers will be receiving three thousands as communication services and five thousands as miscellaneous charge. This makes sixty thousands as monthly salary of Province 3 ministers.


State Minister and Assistant Minister will be receiving two thousands and three thousands each for communication services and miscellaneous services respectively. This makes fifty-four thousands and fifty-two thousands as monthly salary of State Minister and Assistant Ministers respectively.


Provincial government is proposing to provide residence to Ministers, State Minister and Assistant Minister. Ministers, State Minister and Assistant Minister who are staying at their private house will be provided one hundred thirty thousands, one hundred ten thousand and one hundred thousand respectively as house maintenance cost.


Each one will be receiving one hundred thousand as furniture cost. Ministers, State Minister and Assistant Minister who are staying at rent will be provided with twenty-seven thousands, twenty-five thousands and twenty thousand respectively as house rent.


According to government bill, Chief Minister will be receiving three thousands daily as regular visit while two-hundred fifty dollars for abroad visit.


Similarly, Ministers will be provided with twenty-five hundred and two-hundred dollars for regular visits and abroad visits respectively. State Minister and Assistant Minister will be provided with two thousands and one hundred seventy-five dollars daily as regular visits and abroad visits respectively
