KATHMANDU, March 31: Nepal recorded 25 new cases of COVID-19 along with 89 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,951 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 24 PCR tests and one antigen test turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 1,098 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 1,026 are in self-isolation, 55 in institutional isolation, 14 in ICU’s and three on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded six cases of COVID-19 on the day - five in Kathmandu and one in Bhaktapur districts.
