KATHMANDU, April 7: Nepal recorded seven new cases of COVID-19 along with 25 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,668 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, seven PCR tests turned out to be positive for the virus.
There are currently 759 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 717 are in self-isolation, 30 in institutional isolation, 11 in ICU’s and one on a ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.

Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded only one case of COVID-19 on Thursday. The case was reported in Kathmandu district.
