KATHMANDU, July 23: Nepal recorded 335 new cases of COVID-19 along with 86 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Saturday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,996 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 216 PCR and 119 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 2,971 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. So far, 11,954 people have died of the viral disease across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 151 cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. Among them, 108 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 5 in Bhaktapur and 38 in Lalitpur district.
