KATHMANDU, Oct 29: There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall at a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces and at a few places in the remaining mountainous regions of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at a few places in the hilly and Tarai regions of Madhesh, Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and at one or two places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces as well.

The weather will remain generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces. Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the remaining regions of the country.
Meteorological analysis by the MFD states that westerly winds are currently having a partial influence over the country. In addition, the cyclone “Arnab,” which has developed over the Bay of Bengal, is expected to influence the country starting today.
