Rainfall disrupts traffic on multiple highways

According to Police Headquarters, traffic has been disrupted on the Prithvi Highway at Galaudi in Gajuri Rural Municipality-5, Dhading, due to river erosion along the Trishuli River.

KATHMANDU, Oct 10: Incessant rainfall has disrupted traffic on several highways across the country, with road erosion and landslides blocking key sections.



According to Police Headquarters, traffic has been disrupted on the Prithvi Highway at Galaudi in Gajuri Rural Municipality-5, Dhading, due to river erosion along the Trishuli River.

Traffic has been completely blocked on the Kaligandaki Corridor at Rakse in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-2, Gulmi.


A landslide has also blocked the road at Takurchhe in Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Lalitpur.
