KATHMANDU, June 6: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said that even party President Sher Bahadur Deuba is not satisfied with the performance of the government.
Speaking to journalists in Biratnagar on Friday, General Secretary Thapa said, “Our party president has already said that the government is not functioning at the pace it should, nor is it delivering the expected results. We are seriously reviewing this.”

However, he said that the NC is committed to making the government successful. “As there is a general feeling that the government has not been able to perform effectively, we are preparing to take a decision from the upcoming central committee meeting of the NC on how to make the government's work more effective,” Thapa said.
He also mentioned that the meeting will hold serious discussions on the performance of the ministers representing the party in the government.
