Gagan Thapa urges PM Deuba to withdraw his candidacy for PP leader

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that prime minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has to withdraw his candidacy for the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) and make a historic decision.

KATHMANDU, Dec 21 Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that prime minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has to withdraw his candidacy for the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) and make a historic decision.

He said that the decision of PM Deuba to withdraw his candidacy will bring happiness and enthusiasm to the Nepali Congress. General Secretary Thapa also asked senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel to think about the future of Congress. He said that the leaders of people’s choice should win the parliamentary party election which is not an internal election of the party.


He said that the election of the parliamentary party leader is connected to the future and expectations of the Nepali Congress. General Secretary Thapa said that people expect good governance from the Nepali Congress-led government.
