KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Dr Mukul Dhakal has filed an appeal within the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) against the decision to remove him from the positions of General Secretary, party spokesperson, and central member.
On August 27, the RSP removed Dhakal from the post of the party’s general secretary, spokesperson and central member due to his actions deemed contrary to the party's interests.

Dhakal said that he has filed an appeal for a review of the decision to remove him from the post of General Secretary, party spokesperson, and central member, as per the RSP’s decision and Article 57 of the constitution of Nepal,.
He claimed that even in the explanation asked on June 28, there is no mention of what kind of investigation is being conducted against him as well as the punishment that could be meted out on him.
