Local curriculum for local information

Mayor of Bhaktapur, Sunil Prajapati announced the new curriculum for schools in Bhaktapur on Tuesday at the municipality organized event.

At the event, the mayor spoke about the current condition of youths in the city. He reasoned the lacking of practical knowledge among youths as the main reason to start the project. “As practical knowledge lacks among youngsters, we have decided to invest in this sector,” Prajapati added.

The new curriculum will feature the lessons about the culture, history, tradition, geography and also the sports of Bhaktapur. The municipality has been already trying to enhance the quality of education by giving the training to the teachers.
