Buddhist Teachings and Devdaha's Identity endorsed

BUTWAL, April 30: The District Education Office's Local Curriculum Determination Coordination Committee has approved the proposed new curriculum developed by the Local Curriculum Development Committee and decided to enforce its implementation.



The Committee meeting presided over by District Education Officer, Tek Bahadur Thapa, endorsed the curriculum that will come into force from the ongoing academic year. Devdaha Municipality Town Council had earlier taken a decision to form the committee for proposing a new curriculum.



Municipality's CEO, Krishna Nepal, said the endorsement of the new curriculum was a matter of pride not only for Devdaha area, but for whole of Lumbini.



Municipality had formed the committee under the coordination of Siddhicharan Bhattarai to develop a local curriculum titled 'Buddhist Teachings and Devdaha's Identity'. The committee included local academicians and other concerned stakeholders. RSS
