KATHMANDU, March 25: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balen Shah (Balenendra Shah) has challenged the government to send him to jail if he is proven wrong.

He made the statement while releasing the report of the committee formed to investigate Chief Administrative Officer Saroj Guragain on Tuesday.

Taking to Facebook, he wrote, “A government that violates so many laws and protects the corrupt and we have to listen to speeches about good governance. If the above statement is wrong, send me to jail.”

Mayor Shah had suspended Guragain for endorsing the map of Kathmandu Tower in an unconstitutional manner.
