The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), under the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), has informed that local winds have influenced the country’s weather.
Meteorologists have clarified that no significant rain-bearing system will become active over the next three days. They expect a rain-causing system to develop starting Saturday, bringing rainfall to various parts of the country.
They have also observed maximum temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius in some areas of Sudurpaschim Province. Additionally, they have warned that rising temperatures over the next three days may trigger hot winds.
Heavy rainfall likely in some provinces today

On Thursday, clouds will partly cover the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.
In its regular bulletin, DHM has stated that the weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the country.
One or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces may experience light rain with thunder and lightning. Likewise, one or two spots in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces may see light rain or snowfall.
On Thursday night, clouds will partly cover the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, while clear skies will prevail across the rest of the country. Light rain or snowfall may occur at one or two spots in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.
