KATHMANDU, Feb 26: There has been sporadic drizzle in Kathmandu on Sunday. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said that this is the first winter rain in Kathmandu this winter.
Along with Kathmandu, it is now raining in some places of the country, including Pokhara in Kaski, according to the department.

Similarly, there has been light snow in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous areas including Talcha in Mugu, the department said.
According to the department, there is a general influence of western winds in the country at present.
