Energy Minister Deepak Khadka on Tuesday dispatched a letter to Ghising seeking clarification on six points related to a decision made at the secretary level. Giving a deadline of one week, the ministry has asked the NEA chief to send his explanations.

The ministry’s latest action is in addition to a previous 15-point clarification sought from Ghising on October 9. Ghising however has turned down the ministry’s directive showing a cause of the festive season.

In the clarifications, the government has sought explanations on the authority delegated to Ghising in the past four years. Likewise, Ghising has also been asked to provide details on the works he performed to solve issues of the dedicated feeders and trunk lines in the past three months.
