KATHMANDU, Oct 23: Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Kulman Ghising, is going to submit an explanation sought by the government today.
MD Ghising said that the details of all the questions sought by the government have already been prepared and will be submitted today. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka had earlier sought explanation on various 15 points on October 9.

Minister Khadka instructed MD Ghising to provide a clarification regarding the details and descriptions presented before the NEA’s Board of Directors (BoD) and the decisions made by the Board regarding dedicated feeders and trunk lines.
The government has also asked Ghising to submit the details of the rights delegated by him over the last four years. MD Ghising has also been asked to submit four years of financial details of the NEA’s subsidiary company, the details of the head of the central store for the last five years, the additional statement of arrears and the foreign trips details of the members of the Board in the last four years, among others.
