KATHMANDU, March 10: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 138.70, while the selling rate is Rs 139.30.
The buying and selling rates for one European euro are Rs 150.26 and Rs 150.91, respectively. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is valued at Rs 179.22 for buying and Rs 180.00 for selling. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 157.64 for buying and Rs 158.32 for selling.
For other major currencies, the buying and selling rates are as follows: one Australian dollar at Rs 87.46 and Rs 87.84 respectively, one Canadian dollar at Rs 96.46 and Rs 96.87 respectively, and one Singapore dollar at Rs 104.20 and Rs 104.65 respectively.
Today’s forex: US Dollar sells at Rs 139.22, Euro at Rs 145.70
The exchange rates for Asian currencies include ten Japanese yen at Rs 9.37 for buying and Rs 9.41 for selling, one Chinese yuan at Rs 19.17 and Rs 19.25, one Saudi Arabian riyal at Rs 36.97 and Rs 37.13, and one Qatari riyal at Rs 38.05 and Rs 38.22.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, one Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.12 for buying and Rs 4.14 for selling, while one UAE dirham is at Rs 37.76 and Rs 37.93. The exchange rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 31.42 for buying and Rs 31.55 for selling. Meanwhile, 100 South Korean won is set at Rs 9.57 and Rs 9.61, one Swedish krona at Rs 13.75 and Rs 13.81, and one Danish krone at Rs 20.15 and Rs 20.23.
For other key currencies, the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 17.85 for buying and Rs 17.93 for selling. One Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 450.11 and Rs 452.05, while one Bahraini dinar is valued at Rs 367.92 and Rs 369.51. The buying and selling rates for one Omani riyal are Rs 360.27 and Rs 361.83 respectively.
Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time if necessary. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates can be accessed on the central bank's official website.
