Today’s forex: US Dollar sells at Rs 139.22, Euro at Rs 145.70

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 138.62, while the selling rate is Rs 139.22. The buying rate for one euro is Rs 145.07, and the selling rate is Rs 145.70.

Kathmandu, Feb 15: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed new foreign exchange rates for Saturday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 138.62, while the selling rate is Rs 139.22. The buying rate for one euro is Rs 145.07, and the selling rate is Rs 145.70. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 174.40, and the selling rate is Rs 175.15, while the Swiss franc is set at Rs 153.67 for buying and Rs 154.34 for selling.


The buying and selling rates for one Australian dollar are Rs 87.82 and Rs 88.20, respectively, while for the Canadian dollar, they are Rs 97.71 and Rs 98.14. The Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 103.30 for buying and Rs 103.75 for selling. The exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.08 for buying and Rs 9.12 for selling, while one Chinese yuan stands at Rs 19.08 for buying and Rs 19.16 for selling.

The buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 36.96 and Rs 37.12, respectively, while the Qatari riyal is valued at Rs 38.02 for buying and Rs 38.19 for selling.


According to the central bank, one Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.12 for buying and Rs 4.13 for selling, while the UAE dirham stands at Rs 37.74 and Rs 37.90, respectively. The Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 31.26 for buying and Rs 31.39 for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is  Rs 9.62 and settling is Rs 9.66, while one Swedish krona is priced at Rs 12.91 for buying and Rs 12.97 for selling. The buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 19.45, while the selling rate is Rs 19.53.


Additionally, the Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 17.81 for buying and Rs 17.89 for selling. The exchange rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 449.50 for buying and Rs 451.44 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 367.78 and Rs 369.37, respectively. The Omani riyal is priced at Rs 360.04 for buying and Rs 361.60 for selling.


For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is Rs 160, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it can revise these exchange rates at any time if necessary. The commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank’s website.
