KATHMANDU, June 28: Some women became the victim of the series of alleged syringe attacks that took place recently in Kathmandu and other areas surrounding it. Nepal Police on Friday made public Santosh Karki who was arrested on Thursday on the charge of syringe attack.
Spokesperson at Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range Hobindra Bogati informed that Karki denied having used a syringe to attack women. Karki asserted that he used a pointed thin piece of wood and a metallic pointed object used in the construction of a building to prick the skin of women.

Bogati also informed that the motive behind his attack was no more than fun according to the arrestee.
Karki who has been found to be the owner of a restaurant located at Maharajgunj attacked women with pointed objects while returning to his Naikap-based residence after closing his restaurant at 10 pm.
